(Current News Releases at Bottom of Page) Little Bald Mountain Fire Start Date: July 31, 2008 Location: South Willow Canyon, in the Stansbury Mountains near Grantsville, UT Jurisdiction: Wasatch National Forest Cause: Lightning Caused Fire Size: 502 Acres Contained: 95% Fuels: Heavy Timber Resources: 1 Engine Crew Closures: Cottonwood, Intake and Boy Scout Campgrounds will remain closed until further notice for public health and safety due to possible mudslides and flashfloods. Other: Box Elder, North Willow and South Willow Canyons including Upper and Lower campgrounds and Loop campground are open as of noon, August 12, 2008.
