Check Your Roof:

  • The roof is the most vulnerable part of the house.

  • Replace flammable wood shingles with fire resistant roofing.

  • Remove branches over the roof, under the eaves, and within 15 feet of the chimney.

  • Install a chimney spark arrestor.

  • Inspect and clean your roof twice a year.
