Tooele Prescribed Burn
March 10, 2008
Start Date: March 8, 2008 and ongoing.
Location: Tooele County
Pile burning will begin on March 8, 2008 in the area of Rush Valley, approximately 15 miles south of the town of Tooele. If the weather is right for smoke dispersal the Salt Lake Field Office fuels crew will burn the slash piles created by the thinning project close to Rush Valley. Pile burning will continue in the area throughout the spring season as weather conditions and air quality allow.
